![]() ![]() For the desktop or mobile apps, it doesn't matter if you have internet connectivity at the current moment. Move something around? Sure, just drag it to its new place on the page. Not just that, it lets you place text or images or video arbitrarily anywhere on your notebook pages. It might be dragging and dropping a picture into your note page, or pasting a video, or even making a drawing or handwriting message. It is super handy to be able to just "paste anything" into your notebook. Or me heading to Costco with our kids on Sunday? Perfect, between my wife and I, we both update the list and uncheck common items that stay on our list all the time so I know to pick them up again. She can check off the boxes next to each item as she gets them. Wife running to Target? Great, she's on the way there or already in the store and I edit our Target list that she is working from. But specifically, sharing with others, like my wife, allows us to manage the simple, everyday things like a reusable grocery list for each store. Now, this doesn't seem that amazing in 2017 given that we have Office 365, Zoho apps, and Google Apps, among others, that allows for multi-author collaboration on documents. ![]() Not just for read-only snapshots but actually allowing for collaborative (and real-time) editing and manipulation of notes. OneNote is great for sharing with others. That said, there are others that do it, too, including Evernote & Google Keep and others. Furthermore, any device I use needs to let me view and manipulate notes. If I add notes from one device, I want it to be available to me on any other device I might use. Here's why I switched (some of these features are provided by more apps than just OneNote, however): Microsoft OneNote stands out as the go-to choice for me and previous to using OneNote, I used Apple's built-in Notes app. His conclusion is not the same as mine, however: One blog author tries to review a few popular ones to determine which works best. Certainly there is no shortage of options out there, ranging from Evernote to OneNote to Google Keep to Apple Notes, and much more, depending on the device you use most or operating system you have on your desktop or laptop. When discussing to-do list apps, note-taking apps, and so on, there are a myriad of choices, some popular, some not. ![]()
